April 19 and April 26: Bairrada
Bairrada is a wine region in the middle of Portugal, between Coimbra and the Atlantic coast.
The region is famous for it´s sparkling wines and red´s from the Baga grape variety.
In this tasting we will compare different Espumantes, discover some interesting whites and indulge in the elegant yet powerful reds from the Baga grape variety.
For many serious wine lovers Bairrada is a the hidden gem in the Portuguese wine portfolio.
What to expect:
Tasting of 7 Bairrada wines including 2 sparkling wines.

May 17: Vinho Verde
With a reputation as the most easy Portuguese wine not the usual suspect for a serious tasting…. But be surprised!
The Minho, where Vinho Verde is born, has much more to offer than just the easygoing, semi-green wines. There are serious Alvarinho´s, Loureiro´s, some with oak matuarion and bottle aging. Even reds are produces in the region, that are very rare outside the region itself.
The Minho as a Wine region is on the move to become a lot more serious in the domain of Portuguese wines.
In this tasting we will discover what the region has to offer besides the standard options.

Tasting of 7 Minho wines, including rosé and red.
