Vidavinho is dedicated to sharing passion for Portuguese wines with wine enthusiasts from around the globe. Vidavinho facilitates wine-tastings that are both fun and educational. They are set up like workshops, where participants learn about Portuguese wines, while tasting wines and having a good time. All tasting include a minimum of 7 wines, bites and handouts with information. They are English spoken and aimed at an international audience. The calendar below shows when the next wine tasting is planned. Vidavinho is based in Cascais.

An introduction to Portuguese wines, approached from an international perspective. Available at least once per month. Takes place in Cascais. Duration: 2,5-3 hours.

Workshop focussed on a specific Portuguese wine region. A deep dive that builds up on the Portuguese wine discovery with more detailed information. Monthly returning with different themes. Takes place in Cascais.

Vida vinho, meaning Wine-life, aims to introduce the international audience to the exceptional wines that Portugal has to offer. Many expats and other internationals in Portugal struggle to find wines they enjoy, often sticking to familiar international grape varieties like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. They are unfamiliar with unique Portuguese grapes such as Touriga Nacional and Arinto, or the distinct wine regions like Dão and Bairrada. They get overwhelmed in supermarkets and restaurants, resulting in purchasing the same wines repeatedly. A missed opportunity, as Portugal offers such a wide range of exciting wines. The tasting that Vidavinho offers are aimed to solve this problem. Accessible information about Portuguese wines that help expats and vistors to make better choices and enjoy more Portuguese wines.
The wine- tastings are organised on a location in the heart of Cascais and are open to join for everyone.
